Somatic Support

Ground.
Release.
Embody.

When talk-based support only goes so far, somatic work can offer something deeper.
Somatic support invites you to get out of your head and into your body—to gently unwind stress, reconnect with yourself, and feel held in a way words can’t always offer.

What Is Somatic Support?

Somatic support is body-first care designed to help you slow down, feel grounded, and release what’s been held inside. It's not about problem-solving or productivity—it's about honoring the wisdom of your body and giving it the time and space to restore itself.

This support is especially helpful when:

  • You feel disconnected from your body or emotions

  • You're carrying chronic stress, tension, or emotional heaviness

  • You want healing, but talking through it isn’t enough

  • You crave a restful, nurturing experience that helps you feel like you again

Unlike coaching (which focuses on integrating body and mind for long-term growth) or nervous system support (which focuses on regulation and resilience), somatic support is about the immediate experience of safety, grounding, and softening—right here, right now.

Benefits of Somatic Support

Somatic support can help in a variety of ways. You may notice:

  • A deep sense of calm and internal safety

  • Release of physical and emotional tension

  • Improved body awareness and presence

  • Clarity and emotional lightness

  • A greater sense of wholeness and reconnection

  • A gentle unwinding of stress, without having to explain or perform

This is a space where you don’t have to think your way through anything.
You just get to be.

What To Expect

Somatic support may include:

  • Soma Sessions: a calming, in-person experience that combines gentle music, supportive tools like the Biomat, and an environment designed for nervous system restoration.

  • Somatic EMDR (available to coaching clients): integrates the body into trauma processing for deeper healing.

  • Polyvagal-informed practices: such as guided breathwork and movement to support release and reconnection.

Each experience is designed to help your body do what it already knows how to do—settle, soften, and heal.

Who It’s For

Somatic support is ideal if you:

  • Are feeling burned out, numb, or emotionally stuck

  • Want to feel more at home in your body

  • Are looking for a low-effort but high-impact way to care for your nervous system

  • Crave a restful, restorative pause from the demands of daily life

Whether you're navigating trauma, high-functioning anxiety, or just feel worn down by the mental load of caregiving and daily stress, somatic support gives your body the safe container it needs to let go.
